Born on February 20, 1999, in Goma, DeGoBoY’s early life was marked by resilience and adaptability. At the age of six, he and his family relocated to Uganda, settling in Nakivale Refugee Settlement, where he spent nearly a decade.
While growing up in Nakivale, DeGoBoY found solace and purpose in music, channeling his experiences and environment into his artistry. His unique sound blends Afrobeat rhythms with heartfelt lyrics, resonating with diverse audiences across East Africa.
