City celebrity man of God, pastor Aloysius Bujjingo claims he did not have intentions of eating Susan Makula’s legumes at first, stating that his appetite to smash grew over time as she continued to walk like ‘mulinya nyonyi’ while in church.

Bujjingo swears in the name of the almighty that initially, he only wanted to lay his blessed hands and pray for sweet Susan during a challenging period in her life but God had other plans for them.

“It’s odd, considering I had no interest in her,” he said during a sermon.

“I was the one praying for her. She had a lot of problems, and in the midst of all that, she had decided never to date again.”

While narrating the story, the controversial pastor invited Makula to the pulpit and recounted the moment he realised he wanted to marry her. “I just decided one day that I wanted to marry her. I saw wisdom in her,” he said.

Makula, who was a single mother when she met Bujjingo, previously shared how she made it clear she was not after his wealth during their courtship.

I made it difficult for the pastor. I refused his money, even though I wanted it, because I didn’t want him to think I was after his wealth,” Makula admitted.

At the time, I was living in a rental for Shs100,000. I had a salary, but I also had a lot of responsibilities, including raising my son. I wanted to show him that my love wasn’t for sale. Money wasn’t going to make me his wife.”

She added that her aim was to discover other qualities in Pastor Bujjingo that would sustain their relationship beyond financial security.

“I told him, ‘Don’t use money to win me. Show me there’s something about you, beyond your wealth, that will keep me around even when the money is gone.”

In 2024, Pastor Bujjingo announced that a wedding was being planned, though he refrained from confirming a specific date.
