Rapper Keko Town has shared details about the breakdown of her once-close friendship with fellow singer Sheebah Karungi.
During her appearance on the Tusker Malt Conver Sessions, Keko reflected on the events that led to their fallout.
According to Keko, their friendship began to deteriorate after she confided in Sheebah about concerns regarding a manager who she believed was trying to sabotage her career.
Despite Keko’s warnings, Sheebah chose to work with the manager, prioritizing her professional ambitions.
“Sheebah decided to sign with him, even after I had talked to her about what he was doing to me. I guess her career mattered more at the time,” Keko revealed.
Keko ended the session on a heartwarming note, wishing Queen Karma Sheebah a blessed journey into motherhood; a humble gesture, which symbolised growth and the power of reconciliation.
The decision drove a wedge between the two, causing them to part ways.
This revelation sheds light on the strained relationship between the artists, who were known to be close friends during the early 2000s.
