The 2024 Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) results are set to be officially released on Thursday, January 23, 2025, by Education Minister Janet K. Museveni at State House, Nakasero.
According to UNEB spokesperson Jennifer Kalule, this year’s performance is better than last year’s. A record-breaking 798,771 candidates registered, a massive 6.6% increase compared to 2023.
Kalule says as tradition is, candidates or parents interested in accessing soft copies of the results can use their mobile devices by texting PLE, leave a space, enter your Index Number, and send to 6600. For example: PLE 001234/456.
The results will also be streamed live on UNEB’s and the Ministry of Education’s social media platforms starting at 11:00 a.m.
School inspectors are already gearing up to collect printed copies of the results, while schools will access them through their online portals.
