KCCA FC and MTN Uganda have launched a new ticketing venture for Ugandan football fans that access MTN Omondi Stadium for KCCA FC’s home games.
MTN Uganda, through MTN Market by MoMo, has introduced MTN MoMo ticketing for KCCA FC home matches, which comes at a discounted offer.
KCCA FC CEO Anisha Shahir Muhoozi explained the new development to the media at a press conference held at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, on Tuesday, 11th February.
This venture is to start in the first home game of the second round for KCCA FC. We have started with the KCCA FC vs Vipers SC on Sunday, 16th February 2025. The ordinary ticket will go for 20,000 ugx, but if you buy it using MTN MoMo Ticketing, you will get it at 15,000 ugx. This discounted offer ends on Saturday, 15th February 2025. The discounts will vary according to the different games the club will be playing at home in the second round.
MTN started the campaign of ticketing with KCCA FC in 2019. Sharing the journey over the years was John Paul Okwi, the Manager Sponsorships and Events at MTN Uganda.
The objective of this new development is to have a hassle-free experience for football fans. MTN Market by MoMo is finalizing plans with KCCA FC to have merchandise on the MTN Momo app. So when you purchase merchandise, you have it delivered to you at the convenience of your home, especially those with Kampala and the neighboring cities.
Anyone who purchases the ticket using the MTN Momo ticketing for the KCCA FC vs Vipers SC game and all other home games to come will get a discount offer for their ticket said Joshua Nagenda, the Business Development Officer at KCCA FC.
