Over the weekend, crooner King Saha survived a thorough beating by revelers during his performance in Ibanda town, western Uganda.

King Saha, who is now a darling in National Unity Platform (NUP) for tickling the Leopard’s an*s especially in his recent songs, was performing stinging tracks that did not sit well with some in the audience, particularly in a region where Sevo enjoys strong support.

As usual, he spiced up the performance with his freestyles, referencing recent events.

According to sources, the show’s organiser is also an ardent Sevo supporter, which may have contributed to the negative reaction from the crowd.

Videos from the event show Saha and his team scattering blows with fans. In fact the star singer himself can be seen holding a chair, ready to hit anyone who could dare him.

King Saha eventually left the venue. In some clips, he is seen complaining about the poor sound system.

The event, held at the newly opened Kanuzire Lounge, also featured a pork joint. Despite being a Muslim, Saha performed at the venue, allegedly unaware of the venue’s details.

The event attracted several high-level government figures and politicians, likely influencing the hostile reaction to his performance.
