Ugandan singer and entrepreneur Maxxie Kizito has won the prestigious African Art & Entertainment Award for Best Entrepreneur, Talent Manager, Brand Ambassador, and Best Events Company in East Africa.

At the awards held in Nairobi, Kenya on 6th April 2025, Maxxie Kizito could not hide his excitement and he showed off his new award.

This award is for everyone in our industry. There is no competition, we are a team. I am proud to bring this home to Kampala, to celebrate what we have accomplished and all the great things still ahead of us.

I want to bring the EAEA Awards to Kampala so that every hardworking Ugandan artist and entertainer gets the recognition they deserve.

Having lived in Uganda for nearly 20 years, Maxxie Kizito has dedicated himself to growing the music and entertainment scene.

Through his company, Maximize Entertainment, he has helped many Ugandan and African artists rise to the top, with a strong focus on Afrobeats and Amapiano.

He is also a businessman, running KUBO Street Fashion, one of the top streetwear brands in East Africa, as well as ventures in farming and forex trading.

Maxxie Kizito is currently working on his debut album, “Chasing Midnight”, which already has three songs in production.

The album will feature collaborations with some of Africa’s biggest stars, including Diamond Platinumz (Tanzania), Rema (Nigeria), Black Sherif (Ghana), and Tito M (South Africa).
