The FUFA Disciplinary Panel has stood with the decision of the Executive Committee on the promotion of UPDF FC and MYDA FC to the Uganda Premier League.

Ndejje University that played from the Rwenzori group and Saviours Fc from Elgon group had petitioned to legal authorities in FUFA over the premature ending of the FUFA Big League due to Coronavirus pandemic where MYDA FC and UPDF gained direct promotion to the top league called the Uganda Premier League.

“FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel upholds decision by Executive on Big League 2019/20 season. So UPDF and MYDA qualify automatically to the UPL” FUFA statement on the matter.

This means that Kitara Fc will play Kataka fc and Ndejje University will face Kiboga Young in the promotion play-offs to decide that third team that joins the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League.

That means, Katwe United, Light SS, Saviors Fc, Kansai Plascon, New Villa and Dove Fc are relegated to the Regional Leagues.
