Johnson Odongo has renewed his current contract with Police Fc for another two years after putting pen to a new contract and became the second player to commit his future to the Abdallah Mubiru’s team after Yusuf Ssozi renewing his contract last week.

Odongo joined Police fc from the lower division team Kibuli United in 2018 and they are now two seasons he has featured for the Cops.

The team has strengthened by bringing in new recruits among which are; midfielder Tonny Mawejje, defender Hassan Mohamood and Eric Senjobe from KCCA Fc.

Last year in July, Odongo was summoned for the Uganda Cranes 30-man squad to prepare for 2020 CHAN qualifiers.

Last season Odongo scored scored just one goal in the 2019/20 Uganda Premier League season. Police Fc almost faced relegation but narrowly survived after collecting 25 points 25 games games played and finished in a 13th position when the league was ended in a premature way.
