Kyadondo East member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi’s wife Barbie Kyagulanyi Itungo has set an example for all financially viable women to do something positive in their communities.
September being the month when Barbie was born, the highly inspirational first lady of the Ghetto republic bought over 4 sewing machines and donated them to a few randomly selected teen mothers as a way of helping vulnerable girls kick start something to during the lock down.
Using her Non-profit government organisation, the mother of four bought six new sewing machine that were distributed late last week as her birthday first approached
”These sewing machines right here are a source of hope for a better future of teen mothers living in my community. Caring hearts Uganda is looking at skilling a number of teen moms who are victims of incidents escalated by Covid19 and We hope that this will give the girls economic independence and faith for a brighter future. Whether they go back to school after giving birth or not, they will have a skill to go back to at any one point in life” Barbie Kyagulnyi said as soon as the sewing machines were delivered
