Robert Kyagulanyi is in Kyankwanzi today to campaign after staying a cold night at a roadside in his ride, alongside his campaign team.
Kyagulanyi was blocked by the DPC Migyera Patience Namara from accessing any hotel within, claiming she was acting on orders from above.
Prior to that Kyagulanyi was denied entry into Hoima to stay the night after police and military sealed off all the roads.
Kyagulanyi says they wanted to stay in Hoima but after they were denied access, they went to Migyera in Nakasongola district and similar events played out.
“We decided to spend the night in Migyera but DPC Patience Namara and OC Byarugaba ordered all hotels not to host us. We’re now stuck and are sleeping by the roadside,” Kyagulanyi tweeted.
However, this has not deterred Kyagulanyi, he woke up this morning and started cleaning up in his ride, stepped out, and brushed his teeth with bottled water.
He skipped a shower and proceeded to dress up and hit the road. Kyagulanyi hit the road just before 7 am , he also advised his supporters, to keep calm.
“We are going to keep observing the law”.
As he arrived in Kyankwanzi, he was welcomed by a massive crowd at the venue, he is currently addressing a rally there.
Kyagulanyi will also head to Kiboga and Kassanda districts to campaign.
