NUP Robert Kyagulanyi is still attracting robust crowds despite stern action from security forces in his various campaign trails.
On Thursday morning Bobi wine set off from his Magere residence clad in the signature people power overall with a bulletproof jacket on top and helmet.
Kyagulanyi was also escorted by a new security detail given to him by the EC after one of his aides was injured in the Kayunga fracas.
His campaign program if all goes as planned, will see him in Kibuuku, Budaka, Manafwa, and Bududa.
On his way to Kibuuku, Kyagulanyi made a stopover at Iganga where fearless locals gathered around to show their support.
The vibrant crowds were not interrupted by security even though Iganga was the 1st spot for Yoweri Museveni the NRM candidate to the campaign.
Kyagulanyi successfully moved through the town to Kibuuku for his first campaign meeting.
In Kibuuku, Kyagulanyi asked his supporters not to feel intimidated by the heavy police and army deployment.
He also asked the Kibuuku locals to choose him to come on Jan 14th, 2021 because he is a ghetto candidate that understands their state of poverty.
Kyagulanyi promised to improve the education system, the poor health system among others.
