Kisoro NRM Leaders Fume At Party Chairperson For Changing Campaign Venue

Leaders in Kisoro are disappointed after the NRM candidate Yoweri Museveni canceled his much-anticipated campaign meeting with them on Thursday.

According to the EC schedule, Museveni was supposed to be in Kisoro on 10^th Dec 2020 which is today because he had to attend National Thanksgiving Prayers at State House.

The prayers are held annually by the Inter-Religious Council.

This information has not gone down well with the NRM leaders who are angry with this move .

The leaders claim they wanted to seize the opportunity to hold the president accountable to pledges he made in the tourism and education industry.

Museveni had promised to tarmac tourism roads, work on Buzansa dam and construct Kale institute of science and technology.

Museveni was expected to hold campaign meetings in Kisoro on Thursday and in Entebbe Municipality on Friday.
