Nigerians on Twitter are not happy with a section of entertainers in Uganda for championing the arrest of upcoming artists, Omah Lay and Tem.
The entertainers in the bad book of Nigerians now are star singer Bebe Cool, Cindy Sanyu and TV star Douglas Lwanga. Bebe was the the first artist to alert the authority about Omah Lay and Tem’s ‘The Big Brunch’ show, a week before it was held in Munyonyo.
The show attracted massive crowds and despite the ‘No Mask, No Entry’ strategy, a couple of SOPs were not respected by the revelers and according to the images and videos we have seen, social distancing was a myth at the concert.
On learning about it, Ugandan artistes and media personalities including Cindy, King Saha, Feffe Bussi, Douglas Lwanga, Ykee Benda among others vented their anger towards the law enforcers for letting the event happen without any fuss.
Now Nigerian netizens have singled out, Bebe, Cindy and Douglas and warned them never to step their feet in Nigeria. They believe the above mentioned artists are the ones who wanted Omah Lay and Tem to sleep behind bars.
