The Uganda Cranes head coach Johnathan McKinstry has named a provisional team of 28 players to start the preparations for the 2020 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament that will be hosted by Cameroon in 2021.
This cluster of players, with the exception of KCCA players who are traveling to Rwanda for the CAF Confederation Cup is expected to enter residential camp by Sunday, 20th December 2020.
The provisional squad has rookies to the national team set up as Police’s Muhamood Hassan, Uganda U-20 trio of Aziz Kayondo, Ivan Bogere and Bobosi Byaruhanga as well as BUL’s on form forward Joseph Ssemujju.
The official training sessions kick off on Monday, 21st December at a venue yet to be confirmed.
