Since March 2020, Events, Concerts, and other mass gatherings have been on hold because of the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Because of this, Ugandans musicians have not hit the stage to perform for their fans and this has led to frustration because of brokeness.
We have now reliably learned that under the umbrella of Uganda Musicians Association, musicians are set to peacefully demonstrate by marching to the Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development on 8th August 2020.
The artists will demand a chance to perform again and also their stimulus fund from the government.
This comes weeks after artists failed to turn up at National Theatre to discuss a way forward on the covid relief money the Government promised but has never been received
