A ruthless chappati seller in Lubaga has survived an irate mob attack after stabbing to death a customer over 500 shillings.

Ronald Nsabimana, a resident of Lusanze Zone in Lubaga Division, had a deep heated argument with his customer Torres Kalungi, over a Rolex -chapati before the horrible incident happened.

Nsabimana was given 2000 shillings by Kalungi for the Rolex chappati reportedly priced at 1500 shillings, however, Nsabimana refused to refund Kalungi his balance of 500 shillings, prompting a bitter exchange between the two.

Eyewitnesses at the scene claim Kalungi picked Nsabimana’s property and run away, this prompted the latter to chase after him before finally getting him a few meters, and a fight ensued.

Owoyesigyire says he is currently being held at Old Kampala Police Station on murder charges.

Isaac Kiyimba, the area LC I Chairperson, says the suspect is part of drug addicts in the area that sometimes terrorizes the area.

We have a serious problem with groups of youth who are drug addicts and now even school children who at homes have started joining them, some have now started participating in criminal acts of stealing and killing people. This Ronald is part of the groups,” said Kyimba.
