Singer Big Size Bebe Cool’s son, Alpha Theirry Ssali might have not played any match in the just concluded AFCON-U20 Tournament but he is smiling all the way to the bank.
Alpha Ssali was among the squad which represented Uganda on the continental soccer stage where The Cranes were humbled by Ghana in 2-0 defeat over the weekend.
Alpha has since been trolled by a section of people on social media because the coach didn’t even think about bringing him on in the highly contested competition.
His dad has since consoled and advised him to chin up and walk strong. The controversial Gagamel star also compared the 17 year old son to 2 times Brazilian World Cup winner and legend, Ronaldo Da Lima.
“Congratulations to the Hippos for the great performance you put up during the AFCON tournament, for us Ugandans we are proud of you all. And for you my son Alpha Ssali Theiry am so proud of you and sure you have learnt a lot that come your time, you will raise the Ugandan flag to the rest of the world. My message to you is don’t look down on your self but continue the fight. Ronaldo Luiz Nazario De Lima never played his first tournament as he was kept on the bench but he used what he learnt to become what he is. Congz once again and on to you coach Morley Byekwaso and the full coaching stuff, thank you for the great work done, you guys are just too good at what you do and you deserve all the support from our Ugandan government together with FUFA. And to you FUFA president Moses Magogo and team, good job done”, Bebe posted on his Facebook wall.
Now FUFA has today offered $ 4000 (14. million) to each of the 40 members of the U-20 Cranes team who were at the tournament in Mauritania despite missing out on opportunity to lift the trophy.
Bebe Cool’s Son is now UGX 14 million richer than his pal Solomon Kampala.
