Deputy Speaker of parliament Anita Among has joined others in trashing rumors claiming the Speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanyah is ill and was airlifted abroad for treatment.

This comes after Among was put on the spot by journalists to explain the whereabouts of her senior at a presser held on Tuesday.

The Director of Communications and Public Affairs at Parliament, Chris Ariko Obore, has also been on record explaining to the public that the Speaker traveled to see one of his children in the UK, who was also shocked by the news doing rounds that he was ill with COVID-19.
