About three months back veteran media personality DJ Bush Baby, real names Michael Benjamin Owor cried out for financial support to nurse injuries he sustained in a fatal accident.
“I am DJ Bush Baby I recently went through a near fatal accident that actually left me with fractured left hip bones and I ruptured some vital organs and of course every time I be seeing a medical experts. I am requesting you to support me financially with whatever you can because it’s quite a costly procedure“.
He needed about UGX 15M and luckily enough First Son, Lt. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba cleared all the hospital bills.
Following the surgery on July 14, at URO Care hospital in Kampala, he took to social media to update fans and well-wishers on his health condition.
“I am feeling better. I still have two catheters inserted in my belly and pubic area. The tubes will be removed after three weeks of review,” Bush Baby said.
Bush said that he was discharged from hospital on Friday July 16, 2021 after surgeons had confirmed that the procedure was a success.
The veteran radio host said that he has a series of physiotherapy sessions lined up in coming days, that will attend to his pelvic fracture but reckoned that he is in generally ‘high spirits’ and looking forward to full recovery.
