Barbie Showers Bobi Wine With Praise As Pair Celebrate 10 Years Of Marriage

Today 27th August, 2020 marks the 10th wedding anniversary for Ugandan singer cum politician Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine and wife Barbra Itungo Kyagulanyi.

For the past 10 years, Bobi and Barbie’s holy matrimony journey has been that a great one and inspiring to majority of the rising lovers.

In fact, Bobi and Barbie are termed as a ‘Power couple’ based on how influential they are and the number of lives they have changed.

In her own words last year , Barbie described the moment in the wedding day photo when she was held romantically by husband, Bobi Wine as her dream come true.

She also reveals how Bobi has loved her without reservations, also elevating her status.

To be held like this by the one I love so deeply is one of my dreams come true.

Being loved back with no reservations is a blessing. Taata, you have loved me at my lowest and elevated me at every given opportunity never making me feel any less. My ninteen years of staying under the same roof with you have been years of self-realization, utmost growth and total bliss. I am lucky to be your wife, to have you for a best friend and to be the mother of your children. I am excited about the coming times ahead. For better, for best, for the good and the pretty!

However, her words lasted merely an hour and Bobi was also gripped in bags of  adoring words.

The Kyadondo East legislator emotionally recalls his vows to Barbie to have been more than his personal influence but also his late father’s efforts and dreams.

Bobi says he was urged by his late father to keep his marriage with the Barbie fresh on a daily basis as it would be the only way to keep him resting in peace.

“Son, this ring means a commitment and promise to LOVE someone’s daughter the same way that I have LOVED you. I know you have already loved her for 10years but with this ring, it’s a covenant not only between you and her but between our two families and our communities. If you keep this commitment and promise, I will sleep well even in my grave“, said my father on 27th August 2011 in the dressing room.

Dear Barbie Kyagulanyi, now you know that I LOVE YOU not only on my behalf but on behalf of my parents and all my people. It’s been 19years and you’re still the one that makes my world go around.

Bobi and Barbie walked-down-the-aisle on 27th August 2011 at Rubaga Cathedral, Kampala a day in history that Kampala was brought to a stand still because of a celebrity wedding.
