A Uganda People’s Defense Forces-UPDF soldier has called time on his life after shooting his wife dead .
The deceased Samuel Ojara 45yrs murdered his wife Sharon Akello 20yrs on Monday night with one gunshot under unclear circumstances.
Ojara was attached to NARO Army detach in Akokoro Sub-county in Apac district.
Ojara reportedly followed Akello to an outside bathroom where he opened fire on her before shooting himself dead.
Jimmy Patrick Okema, the North Kyoga Police Spokesperson, says that police is carrying out investigations to establish the exact cause of killing.
He further explains that firearm, two cartridges, and one bullet.
Police picked the deceased’s bodies and delivered them to Apac general hospital pending a postmortem.
