Locals in Kajjansi, Entebbe are living in fear after armed thugs attacked and injured 3 people on Wednesday night.
Police have now launched a manhunt for the unidentified goons who broke into the residence of Titus Tayebwa, a resident of Bwebajja in Mawaanyi Zone, armed with clubs and pangas.
Tayebwa was home with his wife Annet Ndyareba when the thugs entered their residence at 2 am.
Tayebwa told police they tried to rob him but he defended himself against the thugs who mercilessly chopped him and his wife.
The couple is currently nursing deep wounds to their bodies at Entebbe regional referral hospital.
Police say the thugs then proceeded to attack and hack another woman in Namulanda under unclear circumstances.

One of the goons was reportedly badly hit on the head during the raid at Tayebwa’s residence.
Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire, confirms the incident and says they are looking for the unidentified thugs.
This incident comes on the heels of an organized crime in the greater Masaka area that left 30 people dead, courtesy of machete-wielding goons.
Police have since confirmed that 78 suspects including 2 legislators were arrested in relation to the murders.
Of these,14 have been charged and remanded.
