Hakim Ziyech seems to have found a way to get himself into Thomas Tuchel’s team.

Ziyech spark fury back in Morocco when he refused to join the team for Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Little did many people know he had plans to get his club fortunes up and running.

Chelsea signed Hakim Ziyech two years ago when he was Ajax Amsterdam’s best player.

The club and the player have had two torrid years of inconsistencies and plans were being drawn to loan him out.

However, Hakim Ziyech can not be said to be back after influencing Chelsea’s games lately.

The Morocco international played a huge part in the Blues emphatic victory over London rivals Tottenham at the Stamford Bridge.

Hakim Ziyech curled a beautiful ball into Spurs’ goal with experienced Hugo Lloris who has just signed a new contract flatly beaten.

With Romelu Lukaku, Mason Mount and the rest of the team joining him to celebrate, he remained himself.

Shortly after the curler, he could have made two for the Blues, Lloris swept for a corner his thunderous shot.

Six days before this fixture, Chelsea travelled to Brighton. The home team started on a higher note.

Brighton pressed so high making it hard for Tuchel’s side to play their passing game.

But, Hakim Ziyech stepped up and got a goal that changed the tide of the game.

The game ended with both teams sharing the proceedings.

The Moroccan was also on the scoresheet when Chelsea hosted Chesterfield in the FA Cup.

Hakim Ziyech’s goal against Tottenham last night is his third goal in his last four games.

The player certainly hasn’t been happy with his Chelsea situation.

He hasn’t had game time with Tuchel preferring Kai Lukas Havertz and sometimes Timo Werne.

Chelsea lost the title fight but need to get out of the top four scramble and retain Champions League.

Hakim Ziyech will be vital for Tuchel with his current form.
