The head of Judiciary in Uganda Chief Justice Owiny Dollo has shown the public another side of him by displaying brick laying skills to youth at his home village in Aloi village, Lukwangole parish, Patongo sub-county in Agago district.

In videos and pictures that have since gone viral, CJ Dollo is seen clad in a floral printed short sleeved shirt and grey trousers rolled up to his knees stamping the mud on bare feet to form a mould.

The videos and pictures went viral after the Kitgum Woman MP, Lillian Aber, shared them in a tweet. Aber captioned the pictures with words of praise towards the high ranking government official.

“My Lord Chief Justice Alfonso Owiny Dollo joins the Christians in the struggle to build the house of God. Humility comes with a big reward in Heaven. Be blessed Ladit. The message is felt.” she posted.

CJ Dollo is even heard chatting with the locals in the village while getting both his hands and legs soiled in the activity. He later proceeds to mould the soil into rectangular sizes. This exercise is part of a building church project initiated by the CJ as a tribute to his mother.

The Catholic Church is supposed to be situated at Kalo Aloi community.
