Act of gomesi dressed men dancing like slay queens baffles visitors at Kwanjula ceremony
A video has surfaced online showing five men dressed in gomesis and entertaining guests at a Kwanjuju ceremony in Kampala.
As baffling it has been for netizens watching the video, it is common practice for young boys to entertain visitors on Kwanjulas but not when dressed in Gomesis.
For this particular ceremony, what made the whole act bizarre was the fact that 5 grown up men were seen dressed not only in female traditional attires but act out like young slay queens.
In the video shared widely on social media, the five men can be seen dancing to music as they all swung their hands directly mimicking feminine dance moves.
