Alliance Française de Kampala (AFK) is the only language center in Uganda accredited to organize exams of the French National Education, Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Paris, and French University exams.

On Saturday, 12th March, 2022, AFK will launch a DELF schools competition themed ”Njogera Français” – ”I speak French”.

The DELF (French Language Diploma) is an internationally recognized certification, valid for life, and awarded by the French Ministry of Education to prove the French-language skills of non-French candidates.

M I S S I O N

The goal of Njogera Français – The Schools Competition is to promote the DELF Prim, DELF Junior, and DELF Tout Public certifications in Primary schools, Secondary schools, and Universities, and to motivate the students and teachers of French in Uganda.

A W A R D S

The best students in this competition stand to win 1,000€ awards, laptops, and tablets.

Teachers will be rewarded with trips to France, and the school with the highest number of students registered for certifications will be awarded with desktop computers.

More than 800 students from both AFK and partner schools around Kampala will participate in this exciting competition!

The launch will be honored by the presence of French language teachers, headteachers, representatives from the Ministry of Education and Sports, and that of the East African Community Affairs, Association of Teachers of French in Uganda (APFO), the Embassy of France in Uganda, TotalEnergies, and the board of Directors – AFK.
