Uganda Martyrs Museum that’s located in Namugongo has turned into the country’s most visited religious tourism site, especially in the month of June.
As 3rd June draws closer, a day when we pay respect to the people who in spite of deep suffering never denied their faith, a number of believers across the globe flock to Namugongo to honor the Uganda Marty’s, an act that the tourism experts have since termed as religious tourism, one of the oldest forms of tourism.
The museum is now open for the general public to explore this rich history at a fee of only UGX 10K for adults and UGX 5K for children.
