Carol Nantongo doesn’t seem to be fazed by social media trolls over her alleged break up with boyfriend as she keeps dropping good music!
This month’s fresh tune is “Oliwa”, a mid-tempo track co-written and produced by multi Zzina award winner, Nessim.
In Oliwa, a pure love song, the madly in love Carol Nantongo yearns and pleads for her guy to come back home and service her body. She goes on to crave for his love, care and extra bedtime.
She reminds him that her body still functions since she is still young.
The production is synonymous with East African productions, but that does not take away its freshness in the ears of the listener. Nantongo does exceptionally well on the vocals in this one, balancing the mood transitioning from the first verse to the chorus.
Deep into the song, background vocals come in on selected parts not to crowd the audio. This is not a go down low and sweat it out kind of song, it is rather ideal for a close up with your partner so you can, as she says, touch da ting.
The song came out visual-ready! It’s a video directed by veteran videographer, Kim XP.
