Azawi gives out tickets in Owino as pressure to fill Lugogo piles on her 2 days before the concert

Organizing a successful concert has never been an easy task no matter how big or talented a musician may be.

It becomes even more difficult when the artist you are trying to organise for is a newcomer or just establishing themselves on the musical scene.

In the same way, when Swangz Avenue young star Priscilla Zawedde announced that she was going to organise for the first ever musical concert come the July 22, a number of people on social media, probably including her own friends, cast a cloud of doubt on her decision.

The doubt wasn’t necessarily influenced by the feeling of jealousy or hate, but by the fear of the unknown.

Will she really make it after just 2 years in the musical industry? If Azawi pulls off a massive show come Friday this week, then she would have forever entered into the history as having gone against the odds to have a successful concert, but deep down in her heart, she knows the decision she took was a double edged sword. This, therefore, means her maiden concert has to simply work out.

As a way of increasing the vibe around the event, the slow dancing hit maker has today embarked on a street tour visiting highly densely populated places such as Owino market.

While at it, Azawi has been selling tickets for the concert and also giving out a few to some fans who have made her happy during the walk.
