Mercedes Benz trailer rams into motorcycle
Police in Wandegeya, Kawempe Division are investigating a fatal accident at Makerere – Kavule that claimed the life of a female law student.
The deceased, identified as Nakiboneka Jalia, a student of Law Development Centre, Lira Campus died instantly after she was knocked by a Mercedes Benz trailer registration number UAY 005Q/UAD894Q.
Nakiboneka was riding on a motorcycle as a passenger when she perished.

ASP Faridah Nampiima, the Uganda Traffic Police Spokesperson told Galaxy Fm reporter Minah Nalule that the unknown boda boda rider immediately fled the scene.
Nampiima, however didn’t reveal the exact cause of the fatal accident nor the identity of the driver of the Mercedes Benz trailer to our reporter but says investigations are underway.
She says the body of the deceased was conveyed to city mortuary for postmortem.
