Diamond Platnumz has finally disclosed that he and Zuchu are not only bonking but the Wasafi records signee is actually his wife.
Speaking during an invite-only party on Monday, Diamond referred to Zuchu as “mke wangu” (my wife), sending guests in attendance in wild cheers. The video captured at a party in which he confirmed being dating Zuchu has since gone viral.
On her birthday during the week, he vowed to be there for all the way.
Last month, Zuchu also gloriously admitted that she’s bonking her boss and mentor, Diamond.
The 29-year-old songstress, in a TikTok video, admitted Diamond being her boyfriend, to a friend who questioned who he was to her.
“Who’s this?” The friend asked.
“Yeah that’s my boyfriend, I am in love,” Zuchu responded.
Still last month, following her massive win at Afrimma Awards, Diamond’s mum, Sandrah Kassim popularly known as Mama Dangote, kept referring to Zuchu as her daughter-in-law.
“It has happened. Those who claimed that you were singing taarab, what have they helped you, in getting an award? All in all, congratulations to my daughter in law,” Diamond’s mum said.
She went on to brag that Zuchu was showing the world what East Africa is really about.
“Famous taarab singer from WCB Zuchu. She is my own daughter in law. Today, she has taken her work in the US, will she make it? I wish you all the best,” she posted.
Zuchu is an addition to fellow Tanzanian Hamisa Mobetto, Ugandan Zari Hassan, and Kenyan Tanasha Donna that were all once Diamond’s ‘wives’ and his mother, Mama Dangote’s favourites.
