Tanzania Premier League club, Azam FC have completed the signing of Vipers SC right back and captain, Nicholas Wadada on a one year contract.
The Uganda Cranes defender, who have won four major titles with The Venoms; Super League 2014/15 and 2017/18, Uganda Cup in 2016 plus the FUFA Super Cup in 2015, left the country today after finalising the deal.
Azam FC team manager Phillip Alando confirmed the news.
“We have signed him (Wadada) on a one year deal,” confirmed Alando.
Vipers have already signed a replacement for their former skipper in former SC Villa and Lweza defender Ibrahim Kiyemba.
Former KCCA FC striker, Brian Umony previously played for Azam FC.
