As Nigerian star Burna Boy is still begrudging and dissing the Grammy Academy after his loss at the just concluded prestigious award at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, US rap legend and businessman, Sean Combs a.k.a Puff Diddy is out here taunting him!

Puff Diddy has taken to his Insta stories and stung the already disgruntled Burna Boy, who thinks that his album ‘Love Damini‘ is as influential as the ‘Twice As Tall‘ that he co-produced for the Afrobeats star.

Diddy, 53, posted: “I helped you win your first Grammy award which I did out of kindness, and somehow you thought you could win another without my help?? Oh okay..”

Burna and Diddy worked on the Twice As Tall album in 2020 and indeed, the album went on to win the Grammy for Best Global Music Album. Since then, the Nigerian star has become a force to reckon with, globally.

However, his loss at the 65th Grammys left a bitter taste in his mouth and he couldn’t help but rant!

In a since-deleted Instagram post, he mocked the award ceremony saying that it is full of lies and sh*t. He argued that no one deserved to win in the categories he was nominated for except him.

“The Grammys is full of shits and lies! We all know that. Nobody else deserves that shit but me. They can’t stop me, not now, not never !!!,” he posted.

In another post on his Instagram stories, Burna Boy expressed frustrations with the Awards ceremony claiming that after the effort he has put into his music projects, they still snubbed him

“Even after assembling the Avengers on my album, Grammy still choose to shenk me…

Btw “My Happiness Still Be My Own.”

Burna Boy also lost Best Global Music Performance at the Grammys, the same category Ugandan singer Eddy Kenzo was a nominee for his effort with American singer Matt B in Gimme love.
