SuperSport viewers on DStv and GOtv can look forward to quarterfinal, first-leg action from the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League, with fixtures scheduled for Thursday 13 April 2023.

In the Europa League, the early kick-off sees Feyenoord welcome Roma to Rotterdam, before three late matches which see Juventus, Manchester United and Bayer Leverkusen play host to Sporting CP, Sevilla and Union Saint-Gilloise respectively.
Man United appear to be the favourites to win this competition, but manager Erik ten Hag has warned that they must be wary of Sevilla’s excellent record (the Spanish club have won the competition a record six times).
“Back to Sevilla and as you say a very good record, we have to be aware of it,” Ten Hag said after the draw. “It is going to be tough, they are very experienced in the Europa League, won it so many times. All the opponents are coming to this stage of the Europa League they are strong and you have to play your best football if you want to go through.”
In the Europa Conference League, West Ham United will be in action in the early game when they tackle Gent in Belgium, before three late kick-offs see Basel host Nice, Fiorentina visit Poland’s Lech Poznan and Anderlecht tackle AZ Alkmaar.
The Hammers’ manager David Moyes is taking nothing for granted as they enjoy another strong European competition run: “You can never tell with football,” Moyes said when asked about being the bookies’ favourites.
“I would never ever be presumptuous to think that’s the case because we need to improve. I need to get us closer to our levels. We’ve now had two quarterfinals in the last two years in Europe. We’ve had some great trips with the supporters. We’ve played in some brilliant stadiums. It’s been great for the club. We’ve really enjoyed it.”
