Bobi Wine recently expressed his concerns about the fear that many fellow artists have in associating with him. According to him, a section of artist’s apprehension stems from a fear of the government’s potential repercussions.

During the burial ceremony of Kato Lubwama, Bobi Wine used that chance as he gave his speech to rant and callout artists who have somewhat sidelined him and continued to sleep in the same bed with Sevo. He shared his disappointment at the lack of communication he has with his fellow artists, as many of them shy away from being seen with him.

He encouraged musicians to seek assistance from his friends in the industry, such as Silver Kyagulanyi, Hilderman, and John Segawa, who can provide guidance on copyright law, instead of trading as beggars.

“I don’t get time to speak to my fellow artists, most of them don’t even want to come next to me simply because they fear the government to see them with me. But you can go to Silver Kyagulanyi, Hilderman, John Segawa instead of being reduced to beggars. They can help you to understand the copyright law.” He partly said during Kato Lubwama’s burrial on Wednesday, something which has left a bitter taste in many of his colleague’s mouth, especially those who subscribe to the new Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) Presido, Eddy Kenzo.

With so much rage, Kenzo took to his social media pages and hit back at Bobi, caressing his beards, tickling and stepping on his toe, with a lengthy post in which he branded him a ‘muffele’.
