Cindy Warned Not To Underestimate Sheebah When It Comes To Live Performances

Ahead of a supposed music battle between Cindy Sanyu and Sheebah Karungi on 15th September 2023, music critic Jenkins Mukasa has warned the former not to think it will be an easy win for her.

Mukasa who himself tried a shot at music many years ago says that it is the perfect time for female artists to bring up musical battles because they keep the industry vibrant.

He, however, advises Cindy not to be complacent about her past achievements ahead of the battle because Sheebah is just as big a performer as she is.

“It seems like Cindy needs this battle more than Sheebah but she should pray to God so that whatever she is planning in her mind turns out perfect. It’s not a walk in the park. She may arrive at the venue and Sheebah beats her performance and she will have to resort back to her marriage,” Jenkins Mukasa said.

Mukasa further notes that Sheebah has a more hit song-filled catalog than Cindy and usually such music battles work in the favor of the artist with more recent hit songs.

While speaking to a local TV station ,the controversial analyst noted that Sheebah’s choreography and stage vibe could be an added advantage to her if the battle happens indeed and he cannot wait to watch two of the top divas go head-to-head.

“Cindy has been performing for a very long period with her band but Sheebah can also hire a band and rehearse for a month or two to put on a good show on D-day. Sheebah’s repertoire is filled with so many hit songs. All her time with Jeff Kiwa, since the Ice Cream days, down to Bailamosi, you cannot compare her with Cindy. The battle is set in a way that each artist performs song by song, the one with the most hit songs usually wins the battle. So let Cindy not think this is a walk in the park. Music is not about how best you can sing, there are a lot of things included. Choreography as well matters. That’s the same argument used against Diamond Platnumz saying he is not vocally good like Ali Kiba but his choreography gives the entertainment fans what to watch. Sheebah is a dance major and she will show that,” Mukasa says.
