The prestigious iKon Awards that happened over the weekend saw several creatives from and outside of Uganda win accolades for their contributions towards the Film and Creatives Industry.

Nigerian movie actor, Iheme Osita, was at the venue at 3:30 PM and was confidently walking around with no protection.

Away from that, the most recognised individuals of the evening, the iKON Awards were powered by several partners, including Sauti, The iKON, and several others. Serena Conference Centre was exquisitely utilized and properly lit up; you could think you were at the Grammys.

When the guests started showing up, it got even more unbelievable. The place was littered with pomp, fashion, and every single actor or actress who might cross your mind.

Some of the guests included Galaxy TV’s entertainment journos, Victor Yo, Alfa Times, Shibbyboo and Sista Code’s Afrah.

Others who rocked the black carpet include, Hellen Lukoma, Housen Mushema, Allan Kutos, Mariam Ndagire, Malaika, Ramsey Nouah, Doreen Mirembe, Matthew Nabwiso, Michael Wawuuyo Jr. & Sr., Valentino, Flavia Tumusiime, Stella Nantumbwe, Usama Mukwaya, and many more.
