ITHUBA Uganda the official operator of the Uganda National Lottery is happy to announce that Nantamu Emmanuel, a peasant from Busowobi Bukukansiri Parish in Nabukalu Town Council, Bugiri District, is the latest winner of UGX 186 million. Emmanuel is the fifth and final claimant of the UGX 1 billion LOTTO jackpot from draw number 17, which took place on August 3, 2024.
Emmanuel’s winning ticket was validated on September 18, 2024. He played the LOTTO using the quick pick option via USSD code *278#, placing a wager of UGX 1,000, and won a staggering UGX 186 million.
This win marks a significant moment for Emmanuel, who plans to use his winnings to further his education and build a home for his family.
Michelle Van Trotsenburg, Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at ITHUBA Uganda, congratulated Emmanuel and encouraged other Ugandans to play National Lottery games.
The National Lottery offers numerous benefits, including the generation of funds for public projects, the creation of job opportunities, and direct contributions to the economic and social sectors.
