Fik Fameica has come out in support of rising star Gloria Bougie, urging the public to extend grace and compassion following the leak of her nude video on the internet.

Earlier this week, Gloria Bougie was the topic of discussion on different social media platforms after her sumbie video leaked. The footage sparked widespread controversy and outrage, with some calling for her prosecution.

Fik Fameica, however, takes a different stance, calling upon netizens not to judge her because she was currently going through a tough time that could easily happen to anyone.

“I just can’t imagine how many people accessed her nudity. It is such a scary dream. But no one wants things like that to come out, I believe they just leak. So, we should just help her, be sorry for her and extend grace towards her because she might be going through a tough time right now. We have to be there for her because it might have happened out of her control not to judge,” he said.

Fik Fameica’s comments come amidst promoter Abitex drafted a letter to the CID headquarters, calling for Gloria Bougie to be investigated and punished for releasing her nudity to the public. The ‘Buligita’ hitmaker, however, argues that unless Gloria admits to releasing the video herself, she should not face castigation over the malicious actions of the people who released it.

“Unless she came out and agreed that she was the one who released it herself. So, we should be there for her in one way or the other and strengthen her. It is a very sad situation and I feel sorry for her. If there is any way we can help, we can,” Fik Fameica stated.

The incident ignited debate about celebrities using nudity to promote their brands and Fik Fameica dismissed the notion, emphasizing that leaked nudes can happen to anyone but will only get mileage because these particular people are in the limelight.

“It happens to everyone. Just because you do not get to know about it. Musicians have a lot of attention and cameras are always looking at us. It happening to a young artist means it is everywhere but when it happens to a common person, no one gives it attention because it is a normal situation,’ he said.
