To bring you up to speed, Kemar Donaldson, known by his stage name Kranium, is an internationally acclaimed dancehall star hailing from Jamaica. With four (4) gold plaques, three (3) silver plaques and one (1) platinum plaques, Kranium has cemented his legacy in the music space. Born and raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Kranium grew up immersed in the rich musical culture of his country. He comes from a musical background, as his uncle is the legendary dancehall artist Screwdriver. Kranium developed a deep love for dancehall from a young age.
At the age of twelve, Kranium made the move to Queens, New York, where he would continue to pursue his passion for music. Drawing inspiration from the sounds of dancehall and R&B, Kranium began to develop his own unique style. His signature sound combines the energy of dancehall with a touch of R&B, creating a captivating fusion that has captured the attention of audiences worldwide.
Kranium first gained international recognition with his 2013 hit single “Nobody Has To Know.” The track’s infectious rhythm and catchy lyrics propelled Kranium into the spotlight, earning him widespread acclaim.
