The two private security guards attached to Wolves are as follows; John Ssabagabo 20 and Patrick Obbo 40, were guarding MTN Service Centre in Buwenge town council, Jinja district.

On Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at around 1am, two assailants yet to be identified and  arrested attacked the private guards deployed at MTN Service Centre.

In the due course, the suspected murders opened fire against the guards killing one identified as Calvin Abia attached to Ultimate Security limited, the deceased was guarding EV Assets management company limited. At the time of meeting his fate, he had left his deployment site and moved to check on his colleague identified as John Ssabagabo at MTN Service Centre with whom, they had previously worked together at Wolves security group limited in Jinja city. Calvin Abia was shot with one bullet on the head, body taken to Jinja regional referral hospital to ensure postmortem is conducted.

The police sniffer dog was introduced to the scene and one fired cartridge case was recoverd pending submission to forensics for thorough analysis.

Prosecution guided investigations ongoing to have the culprits arrested and SAR rifle recovered. Police appeals to the general public to share information that can lead to the arrest of the said suspects. Adding that, the information shared will be treated with almost confidentiality.
