Nyamufumura Village is buzzing with baby gossip after 40-year-old local woman pushed six babies in one go, making village history.

Glorious Betonde gave birth to a record-breaking six babies, in a rare medical marvel that’s left doctors and villagers gasping in disbelief.

Born at just 7 months through a C-section at Neo Care Fertility Centre in Mbarara City, the tiny miracle squad (five boys and one girl) is now under round-the-clock care at Holy Innocents Children’s Hospital.

“This pregnancy was no walk in the park,” Betonde said.

She claims to have battled complications from as early as three months. By month seven, doctors had no choice but to deliver early to save both mom and babies.

Her husband, Vincent Tumwesigye, a 30-year-old teacher, is still trying to wrap his head around the miracle.

“I used to hear about this in movies or overseas. But now it’s real, and it’s here in Sheema” he said.

The young couple is calling on well-wishers to lend a hand in raising their instant football team.
