State Minister for Youth and children affairs Ms Nakiwala has said that the government will have to examine Fresh Kid to find out whether he has not been subjected to drugs or whether his brain growth is not being affected by the stress of preparing for music shows.

“We have to examine the boy to see if he is ready to do such a business because such people may be under the influence of drugs which is dangerous. So that boy at that age cannot be able to tell what is right or wrong,” the minster said

We had by press time had not yet established contact with the managers or the family of Fresh Kid to comment on the minister’s intentions to subject Fresh Kid to a drug test

But his manager, Mr Francis Kamoga, has been quoted by BBC saying the boy does not work for money and has continued to go to school.

Fresh Kid’s music came to the attention of the minister on Tuesday this week through her interface with people who expressed concern about the message in his songs.
