Patrick Ssenyonjo alias Fresh kid has today Thursday 24th May, 2019 reported at Kampala Parents’ School (KPS).
The young rapper who was offered a full education scholarship by the managing director of the Ruparelia Foundation, Rajiv Ruparelia promised to concentrate on his studies as much as he concentrates on his music career upon arrival at the Naguru based school.
At only seven years of age, Fresh Kid took the Ugandan music scene by storm in early March with the hit Banteeka. Having gained massive recognition by performing at several occasions, he raised attention from the State Minister
Ruparelia Foundation’s intervention was a move to help Fresh Kid grow both his talent and academics and it came after Minister for Youth and Children, Nakiwala Kiyingi told him to drop his music and concentrate on school, or go to jail.
The move by the minister was fueled by the news that the young superstar had chosen performing in bars ans night clubs until late in the night over going to school.
Furthermore, one of Ruparelia Foundation’s objective is to make sure that nobody lacks good Education and that is why they offered Fresh Kid who hails from an economically disadvantaged family a full scholarship to cater for his education.
