Over the weekend at singer Cindy Sanyu’s record breaking Boom Party concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, irate fans pelted Bebe Cool with bottles full of urine and other liquid in a bid to chase him off the stage.
On record this was the second time Bebe faced shame at the same venue. In 2018 fans chased him off the stage during Tarrus Riley’s concert for political reasons.
Now following the infamous incident the first son, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has come out to side with the renown Yellow Bus Passenger.
In a tweet , Muhoozi sends warning to Uganda Police for failing to provide necessary security as Bebe Cool faced the fans’ wrath.
“How could @PoliceUg and the bouncers at Cindy’s Concert allow a few hooligans to hurl bottles at one of Uganda’s greatest artists?”. His tweet reads.
Bebe is not the only artist to have faced shame on stage, last year during the festive season singers Catherine Kusasira and Big Eye also tasted it as fans pelted them with bottles.
