Kenyans are bracing themselves for the worst as Kenya Health Ministry yet confirmed 16 more cases of Covid-19 and a fatality.

Kagwe’s report also indicated a fatality which pushed the Covid-19 death toll to 12 in the country.
Citizens are concerned about the growing numbers registered every day. Some are blaming Uhuru Kenyatta’s government for delaying the lock down.
Government has imposed the following measures in bid to bring down the numbers in East Africa’s biggest economy.
There is currently a mandatory, country-wide curfew imposed between 7pm and 5am
Persons visiting a supermarket or any open-air market are required to wear a protective mask that covers the mouth and nose.
Users of public or private transport are also required to wear a protective mask.
Movement restrictions were imposed in and out of the Nairobi Metropolitan Area on April 6 for 21 days.
Similar restrictions were imposed to Kilifi, Kwale and Mombasa counties on April 8.
Citizens have mixed observations over the growing numbers and took to Twitter to pour out their views.
ConcernedCitizen @Coll_Odhiambo: For those who are still in doubt, this #coronaviruskenya clearly isn’t a joke anymore. God have mercy.
Wangechi kariuki @lizzwangechi: One day peter Kenneth and Joho will be remembered things are not good they demanded for a lockdown early enough.
Ayub sabula @SabulaAyub: Let’s just now expect for the worst…each day there is a new case..case after case.. literally let’s expect the number to rise not unless more strict measures are put in place. . meanwhile this too shall pass.
James Perez @JamesPe38251653: There is curfew and the number is increasing. They should call off this curfew.
Richard Ottaro @OttaroRichard: Clearly with mass testing the number will drastically increase. If a covid 19 positive driver can sneak from Nrb Homabay then what we know so far is just a tip of the iceberg.
Adan Abdirahman Flag of Kenya @AdanAbdi99: The number was ranging from 5 to 9 and now it’s between 10-19 next it will go to 20 and above as in the case when it started.
John @John73732799: High time we be responsible let’s adhere to the ministry guidelines in fighting covid-19.
